Procedure text (English for 3rd grade Junior High School's student)

Hi guys!! kali ini Farah mau sharing tentang procedure text. Well, materi ini adanya di kelas 9 SMP. Mau tahu lebih lengkapnya? Check this out!

       Procedure text is a text to tell someone about how to make or how to use something. 

The generic structure or Procedure text are : (struktur dari procedure text)

         1.  Goals/ Purpose/ Title
               The first parts are Goals/ Purpose/ Title *they're same, you could choose one of them* this part will tell the readers about the purpose of your procedure text, just like : 'How to use ATM' or 'How to make a macaroons'.

         2.  Ingredients/ Materials   
                After the readers know the purpose, they really want to know the materials or ingredients of something, so, you could write the materials/ ingredients. For example : '3 tbs (tablespoon) of salt', 'a piece of paper', or 'scissor' 


         3.  Steps
                The last part is steps, you should write this part as simple as possible, because the readers must understand the step easily. And you could use  For example : 'Add 3 tbs (tablespoon) of salt and stir it well.

Examples of procedure text

HOW TO MAKE A DELICIOUS ICED OVALTINE

                           Ingredients :

                     -  Cup

                     -  200 cc of hot water

                     -  3 tablespoon of Ovaltine

                     -  Ice cubes

                      Steps   :

                   - Firstly, add 3 tbs of Ovaltine into the cup

                   - Next, 200 cc of hot water is added into the cup and     
                      stir it well

                   - Don't forget ti add some ice cubes

                   - Last, your iced ovaltine is ready to drink
